Nice cozy cabin. Took my teenage son for a new year get away. We felt like home and enjoyed our stay. I liked the covered porch and also the backyard cover roof. It was raining so didn't get to enjoy being outdoors. It's a Perfect cabin for 2-3 persons to spend a few days or a whole week. The hosts are very responsive and attentive to any inquiry and to make sure your stay is accommodating to you. They checked up on me to make sure I was ok with my stay. Will love to be back if it's available in a few months.

We had an amazing stay at this small and cozy cabin in Big Bear. It was close to everything as well. It was absolutely perfect for just me and my wife—quiet, comfortable, and very relaxing. The jacuzzi was a huge highlight, especially at night, and the fireplace made the cabin feel warm. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and we had everything we needed for a great getaway. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for couples looking to unwind.

This was just the retreat my family needed. The lake view was spectacular! The cabin was cozy and just what we expected. The heater worked wonderfully and kept us warm and toasty. The front shower was okay(probably needs a new shower head), but the back shower was the best! The water was HOT and hit the spot! It was very clean and livable. It could use a deep clean, but whose house doesn't? There were plenty of utensils and pans in the kitchen for cooking whatever we needed. There was even some left over coffee grounds that saved our first morning. Guest tip: Use the WiFi info posted on the refrigerator. There is a wood burning fireplace that was perfect for the evenings when we were just hanging out and reading. It was a wonderful stay and I would 100% recommend it. Oh, did I mention the lake view? We were feet from the shore!

The Lakehouse was perfect for a quick family holiday. It was spacious with plenty of places to congregate or find alone time. The kids' area/game room was wonderful. The lake view was fabulous. Bear Vacations under-promised and over-delivered with amenities of a hotel but comfort of a home. The most priceless moment came when our California kids saw snow for the first time. This place was well worth it. Zero complaints. I will book again!

Five stars. The cabin was very accommodating and comfortable/ cozy. It was equipped with everything we needed. We appreciated the amenities for dogs too! The check in and out process was very easy.

I had an amazing experience. The weather was excellent in December. There was snow and it was cold, but not too cold. The cabin was well heated, and you could use the fireplace if you wanted to do so. It was extra clean with new appliances. Beautiful quiet neighborhood. It was an excellent romantic getaway. It did have an extra room with a queen size bed, and a double bed( bunk bed style). The master suite had the bathroom. I enjoyed the design of the cabin. It was very modernized, but rustic at the same time. It's in a very good location. It was close to everything to include the ski slopes, shopping hiking, an adult entertainment, such as the bars and restaurants. The cabin would be great for just four people. I would say if it was a couple, the other two should be kids because you're sharing a restroom. Again, excellent romantic getaway for two. We use the extra room to store our luggage and all the new shopping stuff we bought. I forgot to add the bathroom is a stone attraction very nice. Also there is your own personal Jacuzzi right out your back door. It's private and quiet. The most important thing about my stay, was my reception and my checkout. The entire team was accommodating and informative. I always had someone to talk to no matter how late or how early. My accommodations came with a main guest house that had even more information about the surrounding area. The procedures here was very simple. You just have to clean up what you mess up and dispose of your trash. You will receive check-in and checkout instructions that are simple. Great day looking forward to my next vacation at Big Bear with this company. Great job everyone.

Our one-night stay in this big bear home was so exceptionally excellent. The space was impeccably clean, beautifully appointed, and felt instantly welcoming with its cozy furnishings, soft lighting, and thoughtful touches throughout. The heater worked perfectly, making the home so comfortable. The beds were comfy, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to enjoy a home-cooked meal. The host was responsive and attentive, ensuring a seamless experience. We couldn't have asked for a better place to relax and recharge.

As a home owner and a renter, BBV is phenomenal in all aspects. I highly recommend working solely with BBV when looking to get your property managed, or to book a house for a trip! Diane and Angel were very quick to accommodate any questions/concerns we had. I’ve been visiting Big Bear Lake very regularly for the past 15+ years and Big Bear Vacations has been THE BEST company to work with! Absolutely phenomenal! Thank you, Diane!! I booked through BBV again as always, so here’s an update for a new house I stayed at. I stayed at house #1750 and it was a beautiful home! BBV does an amazing job with sustaining the cleanliness of the house, and always quick to respond to any questions! We were a group of 9 friends and the house was very comfortable for us. Extremely open concept house, it’s definitely perfect for a large group who wants to interact together. We player board games, Mafia, and had some tournaments with the pool table. The grill was great for BBQ, and the kitchen was very spacious for us all. Definitely one of my favorite houses I’ve stayed at in Big Bear Lake. The backyard was peaceful and accommodating with a lot of patio furniture, and the spa outside was quite big and the water was great. Overall 10/10 house and I would highly recommend it! The natural log fireplace was perfect too. Garage was very spacious too for parking your cars inside! I’m a homeowner in Big Bear and BBV manages my house as a rental as well, but I would love to stay at this house again!

Winding Lane home is a wonderful older home in a good neighborhood. With 2 bedrooms upstairs and the main downstairs it provides privacy for all occupants. The mixture of antique and modern is fascinating and very well done .. with a large gourmet kitchen. Morning coffee on the front porch with the stellar Jay's is delightful. And there is a white picket fence. Both the front yard and large back yard are fully fenced .. with a hot tub. Such a comfortable home that we rented it 2 years in a row.

This cabin is perfect! We come up every winter, but this was our family's first time visiting in the summer. It's the perfect distance from the lake, and my husband and I loved relaxing while our three sons played and splashed in the water. The Jacuzzi is an amazing touch for those cozy winter nights. We came up for an impromptu romantic getaway and it was perfect! We love the cute and cozy decor and appreciated the Jacuzzi and grill. My family and I spent most of our weekend in the living room, relaxing and enjoying the stunning stone fireplace that truly brought the space together. Definitely has the cabin vibe to it. It?s in a great area in Big Bear away from all the traffic but only a 10 minute drive to the blvd. It?s a 20 minute walk to Snow Summit. Would definitely stay here again

Great location, great space. I appreciated that there were instructions everywhere where needed to properly use the devices. I thought that the parking situation was great and we’re just a short drive away from a few grocery stores and CVS, making it an ideal location. Only complaint I have that Vacasa can’t fix but that others should be aware is that the trash situation requires you to drop it off at a separate location (I imagine for the bears) and that because it’s rural, there may be ants in the morning in the kitchen. But that just comes with the city of Big Bear.

The area where the cabin was located is perfect. Walking distance to almost everything we needed.

We enjoyed staying here. The neighborhood is just outside the main lake area. The drive to Starbucks, the zoo, and lake area was not to bad. It is far enough from the main location but close enough to enjoy the area. The low rating was do to some minor spider webs, broken table, dirty hot tub, and late response. Also, by the 2nd day we had no hot water in any batheoom. Over all this place is an okay place to stay.

This place was perfect for my family. 5 big rooms 3 bathrooms we couldn?t ask for more a beautiful backyard for the kids to play and have Bon fires and grill. Charming deck around the top floor, and a game room for all to enjoy. It was clean private and cozy. We really enjoyed how close it was to everything making dinner and activity?s just a few minuets drive. We will definitely be coming back to this one!

Clean and nicely decorated

The completely fenced in deck was perfect for my 2 little dogs. My kids enjoyed the hot tub and the easy walk to a really cool park that has a zip line, basketball court, baseball field, playground and dog park. The drive in to town got shorter by the day. I took a drive and spotted all 4 eagles and that made my trip. Suprisingly the A/C MATTERED in Big Bear this week and I'm glad I picked one with A/C. Watching the Stellar Jays in the front yard on the porch made me feel like an old lady in the best way! I

This is the third time I?ve stayed at country club cabin. It?s a great little home with adorable decorations. I highly recommend.

I can?t even explain what a wonderful spot this was. Spotless, neat, has every thing you could need, and so comfortable. If I ever need to go to big Bear again, this is the only place I?ve ever stay at.

It was a nice place for the weekend for three adults and two kids. However it is not super child friendly for those under 3. The stairs are incredibly steep. The yard is not fenced in. However, local contact was incredibly responsive and attentive.

Beautiful log cabin!! Adorably decorated, immaculate, fenced in yard, great for kids of all ages! The only thing keeping me from giving this place 5 stars is the trash situation. Instead of taking the trash outside to a locked area like every other cabin in big bear, they expect you to drive it clear across town and threaten to assess a $500 if you don?t. Absolutely ridiculous.

This home was the perfect spot to stay while in Big Bear. It's extremely close to the mountain, is very clean, and truly has a great cabin feel. I would definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic stay in this Moonridge cabin! We got lucky with an early check-in - it was a great perk, allowing us to settle in comfortably. The house was tidy, and the peaceful neighborhood made for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was clean and well-maintained, perfect for unwinding, especially in the cold. Plus, the thermostat worked flawlessly, keeping the family cozy. Would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed here twice and will be visiting again. The house is in a great location at the end of Moonridge (quiet) and has everything we need. The kids especially loved hanging out in the hot tub after a solid day skiing.

Let me start by saying our group is already planning to come back! Our favorite amenities were the sound system, fireplace, hot tub and sauna. The game room was also very entertaining. Very clean and we loved the fact that were many bathrooms. We were a group of 7 and everything was so comfortable. We love love love the place! Also very close to everything you need - grocery, restaurants, etc. Thank you to the owners for allowing us to create a quality experience in this beautiful space. Tips - no need to bring any kitchen supplies - they have pots, pans, utensils, coffee maker, etc even though it’s not listed. There’s a switch on the sauna on the bottom to make it work. Perfect Cozy Cabin!

I absolutely adore this mountaintop cabin! The owner left a nice little basket with snacks, which was such a thoughtful touch. The view is breathtaking our night outside with the firepit was a night i didn't want to end, and relaxing in the spa under the stars with the twinkle lighting created the perfect ambiance. What a weekend, it was an unforgettable experience, and I can't wait to return.

I absolutely adored this cabin!! I will most definitely be booking with Big Bear Vacation Rentals again!! The cabin was clean and well maintained. It’s located about 10 mins or less from the village. The communication with the host was great. The host was very responsive and friendly. We had an issue with one of the bathrooms and they fixed it right away. I’ll consider this property again for future trips to Big Bear. Great communication and beautiful home! Kids had a great time with the playroom and nice touch with the Christmas tree.

We had a sensational four days in the Bow cabin. Amazing cabin in a great location. Although the kids enjoyed the game room. They spent most of their time playing in the snow in the front & back yard. Air hockey was fun & the two arcade games were great and all functioning. I believe there was also a sega genisis hooked up to the tv in the game room but we never tried it out. The weather outside was too incredible. Everything was in great working shape in the cabin, it was very clean and in order. WiFi work

Great central location to slopes and restaurants. Perfect spot for the two families enjoying a long weekend winter escape. The hot tub was a hit after a day on the slopes for the kids & adults. The local contact for the rental company was great and very responsive to questions we had related to our arrival. Highly recommend and look forward to returning next year.

First of all this house is beautiful! Well decorated, spacious and well maintained. We had some hiccups at check in with a plow blocking one of the parking spaces, a puddle of water in the front enclosed patio and the thermostat and fireplace not working! Reached out to Flo (local property mgr) and within 2 hrs had the plow removed and Maintenance showed up to resolved the other issues. It was an inconvenience, but it didn't ruin our stay. The shower head in the main bathroom is a pain point though. Y

We loved our stay at Edgemoor Escape! This cabin has everything you need for a nice stay in Big Bear. Our family went up for the weekend and were so impressed right when we walked in. The cabin is cozy and clean with modern decor and well-appointed amenities. It is close to many local restaurants, snow tubing and ski lifts. We have young children so we spent most of our time on the second level which has a fun game room. This room included board games, a retro gaming system and a convertible billiards/ping pong/table hockey game. Although we didn't go when it was snowing, the cabin also has a nice-sized yard that would be great for snow play with young ones. One of the things I appreciated most was the handwritten journal that had a ton of recommendations for local food and activities from the cabin hosts. We definitely recommend this cabin!

My husband and I stayed at this cabin with our toddler, and it was THE BEST. I wish we could have stayed longer. This quaint cabin was easy to find, easy to access & it felt safe. You can park right outside so you're not lugging all your things far. The interior of the cabin has been updated so it feels modern & clean. The kitchen gave us everything we needed for our toddler. We cooked inside, and then we also went into town, which was a really short drive (it was snowing, so we didn't try to walk). The location of the cabin is perfect. Nearby to everything you'll need. Overall, 10/10 recommend. We will definitely book here again!

The house was in a nice quiet neighborhood and set up nicely with two separate areas for entertaining. Bottom floor worked out nicely for the younger crowd to hang out and the upper floor was great for board games and family chatting. Very clean and nice supply of essentials to get us going. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming cabin with plenty of space game room jacuzzi and I can't recommend it enough. Upon arrival everything was spotless the host clearly takes pride in the maintenance of the cabin. The cabin is very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Had the amazing opportunity to take my family up to the green squirrel cabin. We had a blast. It's family friendly. Even had enough room to have two family's stay. It is walking distance from the store and restaurant. It's a blast in the winter time with all the snow.

The Green Squirrel Chateau in Big Bear was an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by its charm and cozy atmosphere. The dual fireplaces created a warm and inviting ambiance, perfect for chilly mountain evenings. The large soaking tub was a luxurious touch, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. We loved spending time on the patio decks, soaking in the serene surroundings and picturesque views. The spacious yard was a dream for our dogs—they had so much room to play and explore! The pool table added a fun element that kept our family entertained throughout our stay. The cabin was thoughtfully designed and incredibly accommodating for our family. It felt like a home away from home but with all the extra touches that made it special. We can't recommend this place enough and will definitely be returning! A perfect five-star getaway!

What a find! This vacation house on Big Bear Lake exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were comfortable and clean, the kitchen spacious and had everything we needed to cook some great meals, which we ate around the large dining table. There are awesome views of the the lake from three of the four bedrooms upstairs, including the incredible master bedroom, with its sitting area, private bathroom, and private balcony. The cozy den was perfect for watching movies, and the pool table in the room off the kitchen provided lots of family fun. There is a hot tub on the back deck, and we soaked in it while looking out over the lake and watching the sunset. So lovely and relaxing. This is just the perfect getaway place. The location is perfect, too! With Snow Summit and downtown Big Bear Lake only minutes away, and a rec park within walking distance, there is something for everyone. We cannot wait to take our family back!

I really enjoyed my time at the house. You can tell that the owners take good care of it and love it. The rooms were beautiful comfy, and smelled so nice. The amenities, including the laundry room, were very helpful. The location was great too, so close to the park, to the lake, and to restaurants. But my favorite part was the amazing view from the rooms and the deck. The lake at sunset was such a treat, and so was watching the stars at night while enjoying the jacuzzi, or taking a nice walk in the morning while inhaling the scent of the pines. I've stayed at many Airbnb's and this is one of the best. This property is spectacular. The view from the large multi-tiered decks is amazing. Every evening we would sit outside and watch spectacular sunsets over the lake, usually while sitting in the hot tub. The house is well stocked, with plenty of plates, glasses, utensils, new appliances, and everything you could need in a kitchen. There's a large dining table and a kitchen table well as many cozy chairs. The beds, linens and pillows are comfortable. The Wi-Fi is quick and worked well even with a large group. The house was spotless down to the baseboards. The location is perfect for going to the little vibrant downtown. The weekend we were there, there was a wine festival and an Oktoberfest celebration. Plenty to do and lots of good restaurants. There are lovely walking areas nearby, including a park by the lake. You can even see wildlife, including eagles and hawks, right off the deck. The only downside was having to leave this oasis and return to real life. I look forward to visiting again

This house was awesome. Design was great. Kitchen is stocked well. Coffee, sugar, spices, cooking supplies...nothing was lacking. Bed was super comfortable. We never needed anything, it was all there. Communication with the host was wonderful. Can't wait to book our next stay. House was super clean. Beach towels for the Jacuzzi. The toiletries available smelled heavenly.

The whole process of reserving, checking in and out was easy. The cabin was bigger than expected, had room for everything. Everyone in my family loved how the cabin had a lot of history and character. There was plenty of parking and the neighborhood is perfect for hiking. It is a great get away from the city choice for small and large family. We would definitely recommend it.

Fabulous We were blessed to already be in the vicinity when the blizzard hit. This was a super place to stay. Very modern with a garage to park in. Close to restaurants and the slopes. And the local management let us check in early because the blizzard was in full effect. They were super considerate and friendly. We will definitely want to return and stay here. Loved it here The place was very convenient with a garage and its opener. The king bed was super comfy! The kitchen was clean and modern. The pots and pans need to be renewed, though. They are pretty old and full of scratches. Everything else was just fine!

Everything was amazing. Except the neighbors dog, which was outside all the time barking. Poor animal. And we could not utilize the back yard for our pets due to this. Our complaints did not help. Everything was amazing other than the unresponsive neighbors.

Location is great. Everything is close by We had an issue getting the tv to work and their maintenance man man can and was super helpful.

We had a great time staying at the cabin. We were so close to hiking trails and off-roading access. We even had a faster exit off the mountain than in other neighborhoods which was an advantage for us to get to our next destination.

Our recent stay in this charming two-bedroom, two-bath cabin was an experience that surpassed all expectations. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and comfort, making it truly difficult to bid farewell to this delightful haven. The unexpected snow was a treat, and the kids were able to build a snowman on the deck while we enjoyed the spa. Best time ever.

One of the highlights of our stay in Big Bear was undoubtedly the inviting warmth and rustic decor of the cabin. Whether we were curled up by the fireplace with a glass of wine or enjoying a leisurely morning on the back patio, the ambiance was nothing short of magical. The bathroom, though compact, was impeccably clean and while we could have easily spent our entire visit basking in the comfort of the cabin, the surrounding area offered plenty of opportunities for adventure and exploration. From scenic hiking trails around Boulder Bay Park to charming local attractions, which were super close by, there was no shortage of things to see and do during our stay. And when we returned to the cabin each evening, it felt like coming home to our own private oasis in the woods. - We will be back!

We absolutely loved this house for our summer get away in Big Bear. The house was very spacious which allowed us not to feel ontop of each other. The kitchen was large and well stocked. The bedrooms were large and bathrooms worked great for our two families. The kids loved the game room and hot tub. The house is not in downtown, but was not a bad drive in. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at Restmoore! The house was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, making us feel at home. The neighborhood was quiet, and the location was great. The pool and hot tub were fun, and the view was lovely. There were plenty of extra blankets and towels, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. It was fantastic to be so close to the lake and within walking distance to the marina. We also enjoyed the short drive to Boulder Bay. The host was friendly and responsive, which we really appreciated. We definitely want to come back and will consider staying here again. We highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful vacation at your rental. It is such a beautiful, comfortable and well stocked rental, we had everything we needed. We slept so soundly with all the sleeping choices. My kids just loved the bunk beds and trundle bed in the kids room, they also loved playing pool in the garage and connect four, we enjoyed watching the fireworks from your beautiful front lawn. We had fun each day heading out to the lake using your 2 paddleboards, blowup kayak boat and blowup tube. We also loved barbequeing on the back patio and cooking in your amazing kitchen. It was so convienient that whether we chose to eat outside or inside our entire party could still all sit together, all 11 of us fit on the patio and we always all fit at your large dinning table inside as well. It is perfectly arranged and decorated to spend quality family time together, we will definitely be coming back. We were also only minutes to town to eat and a very close drive to the mountain to ride the gondola and enjoy kid's activities. My kids absolute favorite was rock cutting and mining for gold just down the road and then eating at Aztec, and both of these were within walking distance. Our stay was magical, and we know it was because of this specific rental we chose!

The house is stunning, spotless, and ultra-cozy, instantly making you feel right at home. Its prime location is simply unbeatable. The home was in a quiet neighborhood and a great view of surrounding mountains and trees. We were close to shopping and stores to stock up on food and drinks. The lake is close by and within easy drive to marina and all water sports and beaches. Would definitely be coming back!

I take my dogs to Big Bear on the 4th of July to get away from the fireworks in the city. This was my second year at Summit at Sherwood, which is the perfect place for us. The location is excellent: it is close enough to amenities like the grocery store but far enough from the busyness of town. This cabin was super perfect for my son and boyfriend. We did so many things throughout the town and love coming back to have the windows open at night no AC needed perfect weather every day. we would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to get out of the desert heat couple hours away and 40? difference in temperature. Best in the June trip trip we?ve taken.

My stay was amazing—this cabin truly felt like a home away from home. On my first night, I was so exhausted from my long work week that I pulled out the sleeper sofa, threw on some Saved by the Bell, and just relaxed. The next day, I took a small hike behind the home and found so many cool things to see, although I couldn't find the hollow tree, so I will definitely be coming back for more hiking adventures. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed to make a delicious dinner: steak, baked potato, and fish that we caught while fishing. After dinner, we enjoyed some drinks in the spa with the firepit on, surrounded by twinkle lights under the beautiful starry sky. My couple's getaway was adventurous, romantic, and just what I needed. I highly recommend this cabin!

The tub is peeling and not suitable for a rental. Pest control needed as ants on the tub. The We don t call 911? artwork is inappropriate for a rental. Kitchen and sink was clean and Vacasa was very responsive.

My family and I have never been out of town for this long and staying at this home really felt as if we were home. House was clean, small touches made it feel even more welcomed. We came to stay for our daughter's HS graduation before leaving for college. The inside of the cabin was nicely decorated, the living room area was clean and the furniture was comfortable. The beds are clean and comfortable and the bedrooms stayed nice the entire stay, the master bed was so soft and comfortable that we slept great. The washer and dryer worked well; it was not loud or obnoxious. The coffee pot, fridge, and freezer with an ice maker all worked perfectly. The library is fantastic and all of the books were in good shape. The hot tub, unfortunately, didn't work correctly, upon my arrival. I reached out to BBV and they sent someone to take a look the same day and were unfortunately unable to fix it themselves, the tech arrived the following day and was able to get the heater in working order. BBV did a good job at getting my concerns addressed quickly and was prompt to inform me of their resolve. We loved the location because we were close to Pine Knot Trails and the Big Bear Village was a 5-minute drive. I would stay here at this cabin and with Big Bear Vacations as my host again. I enjoyed my stay and am looking forward to coming back!

The house was warm and welcoming. It had all the amenities you could ask for. Maybe an air fryer would be a good addition. The game room was awesome. Kids and adults having hours of fun in there... Our dog had a great time such a large big back yard. We would all love to come back again. The owners really did a great job with all the Knick knacks, pictures and ornaments they were all so cute and well thought out. The hot tub was also a great place to relax.

It was perfect for a large group with 3 families!

Amazing rental. From getting in to the rental to all the amenities available. Everything is thought of all the way down to If you get snow they even have sleds available to use. Amazing hosts. Property was so beautiful. Updated and well kept. Neat and very clean for our arrival. Plenty of room if you plan on having a larger number of people. Great location to all the amenities. Less than 20 min away from the Village. Less than 10 from the ski hill or the grocery store.

Let me start by saying our group is already planning to come back! Our favorite amenities were the sound system, fireplace, hot tub and sauna. The game room was also very entertaining. Overall, I'd give this rental a 9/10. The unit and furniture is old, but everything worked properly. Most of the complaints I have I consider minor. The heater worked well, but it did give me a stuffy nose. I think the HVAC filter needs to be changed. The in unit washer/dryer was helpful. Management provides soap for two loads of laundry but no dryer sheets. There are ample pots/pans and seasoning but no cooking oil provided. Recommend you bring your own or go to the grocery store a short 5 minute drive awa

We cannot say enough about our stay here. It was our first time in Big Bear, and this felt like the absolute best location. You have a quiet street that dead ends into the forest, and two blocks away you have the amusement park. We loved exploring the mountain side, and then the following day we just strolled over to the roller coasters. We also spotted bowling, grocery stores and you can walk into town and the lake. As a family that doesn’t love having to drive this location was tops! Now the house…it’s just stunning. Modern, beautiful and practical. (It wasn’t lost on my that there a strategically placed heater/ac vent just under the sink so if you are cooking you just get that added little bit of cozy.). The house was comfortable for us as a family with young children but can also just as easily accommodate couples. There are enough beds and bathrooms fo provide a nice amount of shared space, but also a good amount of privacy between the upstairs and down and the suites. We the most wonderful family getaway with game time, movie night and evenings by the fire. Can’t wait to come back!

Our family stayed here we have 4 children , the stay was very enjoyable and the cabin had everything we could possibly need or think of . It was clean and organized . Lots of fun things to do for our kids the play room was their favorite ! Also the heater worked Amazing . That was a plus because I am always cold . We?re on our 6th year of taking the kids to Bear Mountain during Presidents? Week, and we?ve developed an appreciation for cabins in Big Bear. This home has plenty of space, plenty of beds, plenty of parking on a flat driveway (no chains required to get up the driveway). The water heater is right on it with good pressure. My stay with my family at this house was amazing and we had such a blast. The house was a beauty from inside out. Great set up inside and the space in the backyard was so great as well. With the house covered in snow it made the experience even better. All rooms of the house were really clean and very spacious. The downstairs area is just as awesome as the upstairs area. There aren?t enough words to describe how much we loved this house and our experience. My family had the best time up here and can?t wait

From the cozy fireplace to the spa outside to the well stocked and modern kitchen and comfy furniture. He felt like we were checking into a nice hotel, but had a gigantic house to roll around in.

Great location, great house. Beds are huge. Water pressure in shower is very poor. Very clear that many dogs have been though this property as there is dog hair everywhere. So just beware of that.

This house is beautiful! It is spacious and the perfect home away from home. It had everything we needed and it has such. Beautiful view from the balcony right outside of the kitchen. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Soaring Pines, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience. The homes decor is amazing The exterior boasts a custom stone driveway and a basketball court, creating a welcoming entrance. The outdoor spaces are ample, featuring a barbecue grill, outdoor seating, the garden with a fountain, and even seasonal fruit trees. The custom-made ski lift chairs add a unique touch, providing a cozy spot to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views.

We had a nice vacation trip with 8 kids (6 under 3) & this home was spacious enough to not feel overwhelmed & they were able to roam around! We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was in such a great central location but away from all the busyness and noise. The house had everything we needed for a great weekend. I stayed at the property at 41764 Brownie Lane in Big Bear October 24-26. I wanted to share some notes about my stay. I stayed at unit #6. The overall appearance and cleanliness of the property was excellent. The place is easy to find and directions for accessing the unit were good. Everything I needed, in terms of amenities, was there. It took me under two hours to drive up from Long Beach Now the really important part: The location is perfect. It was an amazing mix of rustic and city. I loved the smell of pine trees but had a CVS just a mile down the road for a few things I needed. I was able to go for short or longer hikes very nearby but grabbed a burger at the local Carl's Jr after. There's a really good Jerky shop, albeit a smidge expensive, just down the road for a treat. It really was dreamy how peaceful and convenient the area is. I'll definitely plan for more stays at the cabin.

We really enjoyed our time here making many new memories, the cabin was cozy, and we loved spending our Thanksgiving holiday here!

There was nothing wrong or amiss with the house. More amenities then we could use. Very warm and cozy. Vacasa was very attentive to our needs at the beginning and when we told them we were great they left us alone to enjoy our weekend. We never had to call them to address any issue.

came to Big Bear for the first time from Las Vegas to celebrate Dad's birthday. Cabin was lovely & felt like being at home, love how close everything was. Our favorite part was hilariously being less than 10 mins from a Sizzler! definitely brought some nostalgia eating there for the first time in decades. Wished we got to experience more snowfall, but all the more reason to come back & visit.

When we arrived to our cabin we loved the exterior and thrilled with the interior. Hardwood floors, high rise ceiling, beautiful kitchen area including prepping island,dishwasher etc. The living room was spacious with a very comfortable couch, huge flat screen TV above a gas fireplace, two bedrooms that were perfect, nice bathroom with tub/shower and a much needed 4 person deck jaquzzi and gas bbq.

Cozy cabin in a quiet neighborhood. Top floor has an arcade room next to 3 double sized beds and a tv. Its the ultimate sleepover setup. We enjoyed the hot tub and the gas fire pit out front.

I recently stayed at this cabin with a small group of friends and it was perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway in the mountains. The amenities were all clean and updated but it still felt cozy like a true log cabin. The location was right next to the ski slopes and just an easy drive into the village. I will definitely be coming back here and would recommend it to family and friends.

I stayed at Big Bear Moonridge Cabin with a few friends and had an awesome time! The cabin has a real old school feel with it's “A” frame and original knotty pine interior, while still having all of the modern amenities you could hope for. The back deck is the perfect place to drink coffee in the mornings, play cards in the afternoon, and sit around the fire pit table at night. It was easy to get to The Village and convention center for Oktoberfest with the local taxi service. There are so many great places to eat and drink nearby, we were very pleasantly surprised! The cabin is also super close to the golf course, Bear Mountain, the zoo, the alpine slide, escape rooms, axe throwing bars, hiking, kayaking, and shopping. We had a great stay and can't wait to come back again soon!

The coziest quaint beautiful cabin in big bear! It feels like we never left home. The location is a 10/10 near the slopes and less than 10 minutes to town. Appliances are all new and renovated, with flat screen TV's in room and living room above a warm fireplace. The bed is so soft and comfy I didn't want to leave! We will be back thanks!

Wow! We had a fantastic time at Black Diamond Chalet. The home is walking distance to Bear Mountain Resort, and the home has a great game room for the family. This home is highly recommended for your winter snow trip.

Quiet, spacious, clean and perfect location

PERFECT for 2 families with KIDS- that includes teens and tweens! During February, while planning for a local vacation during my kids spring break, I suddenly realized my kids who are 12 and 13 have never seen or experienced snow. Realizing that Big Bear still has snow in March, I quickly called my friend who's in the same situation- spring break vacation and kids who've never seen snow. We quickly found this beautiful home- Big Bear Moonridge Retreat- formerly Sequoia Retreat. This home was perfect for my family of 4 and our friends who are also a family of four. As we drove up the home, we noticed the wooden bridge leading to the house which was a treat for my son who is all about forts and wooden cabin feels- you will get plenty of that. As we opened the door leading to the main floor, we were greeted by a cozy living room with a kitchen. Its open concept kitchen/living room invites the person prepping meals to also enjoy interacting with the family as they hang out. There's a wrap-around deck so you can enjoy the forest and fews without leaving the comfort of the home. There were two bedrooms on the main floor and two bedrooms on the second floor. The second floor also has a small living room area and a huge pool table and wrap around deck. Our tweens and teens basically made the second floor theirs while we parents enjoyed hanging out on the main floor. The house is also very centrally located- zoo is nearby so you can even walk there also walking distance to a great donut shot! Will come back again!

This house is huge and comfortable. I had a sisters weekend and this house delivered all our criteria. There's enough room for each of us- there's 4 of us and we don't like to share beds. The laundry facilities are modern and easy to use for one sister who does laundry every day. There's a second TV area for another sister to binge her K-dramas and the kitchen and living room on the main floor gave us space to cook and hang out. We love the deck- you get a 180 view of the mountains and big trees and the laid back feel of the place. Kitchen and bathrooms are clean. Beds are big and comfy. Bonus- there's a walkway that's close to the house and zoom that leads us past a donut place AND the best quilt store ever. Forgot the name but it's right next to a Sizzler. Great place for people who want to be together yet need room to have alone time.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this Snow Summit condo, and it was truly a remarkable experience. The first thing that struck me was the breathtaking ski resort view from the condo. I could only imagine winter waking up to the sight of snow-covered slopes every morning was a dream come true for any winter sports enthusiast. The location couldn't be more convenient, If you want a great location to the ski resort this is the home for you!!!

Everything was exactly like the photos, very spacious, nothing was broken on the property and there was plenty of sleep space! You can fit a car in the garage, and 2 in the driveway. Will stay again soon!

We had a fantastic time at the Lazy Bear Cabin. It is close to downtown so a quick drive to the heart of town. When we were lazy, they had a neat game room in the garage which we played ping pong. The outdoor hot tub was perfect to admire the views outside. The added benefit with the living areas are tidy and clean. Would easily recommend to anyone thinking of staying!

Honestly, this was my first time at Big Bear and I got to say my experience there was amazing. The part that made it easy was the Airbnb that I stayed at. This place made me feel at home, especially with all the amenities it had to offer, one of my personal favorites was the Jacuzzi and the grill. There was a small issue that came up during my stay, which was the backlights by the jacuzzi. Big Bear Vacations was able to send someone out to the home to fix the issue, They weren't able to fix it, but the guy who came was very helpful and ended up finding out that one of the lights was out, which made all the lights in the specific area not turn on. If you're concerned about the noise coming from the airport at night, well, don't worry because it's very peaceful and quiet at night. But I would say during the midday, it could get pretty active and noisy. Overall, I would rate my stay at this Airbnb, a 10 out of 10 because of cleanliness, amenities, and location. Totally worth it!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The house is nice and roomy with plenty of room for the kids to spread out and stay busy with the pool table and air hockey. The also had fun just running up and down the hill in front. . There is a beautiful view of the lake and the San Gorgonio Mountains from the deck and we even saw 2 eagles fly over! The kitchen has all the equipment you need to cook though make sure to either bring your food supplies or make the 15 minute drive to the grocery stores in Big Bear. There is a local well stocked liquor store. This is the “quiet" side of the lake which is really great for avoiding all the hubbub of Big Bear. The Discovery Center and great off roading in Holcomb Valley are right up the highway. Only caution is go slow coming down the driveway-it is steep!

The house was great, comfortable, and we enjoyed it. When we sat on the back patio you were not bothered by any of the neighbors because of the pines. The location is centralized and close to all attractions. Nicely set up and was glad there were extra portable fans in the house because the mountain was experiencing warmer weather like every where else. The majority of homes do not have cooling so the portable fans made the house bearable in the afternoons. We really enjoyed our stay and would rent again.

Knotty pine decor, top notch appliances, stove, dishwasher and side by side frig. All in great working condition. King side bed comfy and cozy, bedding was very clean and comfortable. AC was fine as it was 88 deg. Outside. Digital thermostat was good but couldn't figure out how to alter the temperature up or down. But I'm not used to those Digital ones.

This property quickly became one of our favorite Big Bear vacation spots. It's up and away from the main road on the Fawnskin side, giving you a perfect view of the lake. There's plenty of room from you and any of the other properties, which really allowed us to spread ourselves out and enjoy ourselves. Being on the Fawnskin side, it's much quieter than the Big Bear side (which we enjoyed) but is still very close to a few marinas and launching areas for boats. The house itself is amazing. Everything feels up-to-date and has so much space. We went up with 6 total people and never felt like we were in each others' way. The kitchen is very central so you can watch TV with others while you cook, or talk to people upstairs playing pool. It's nice to have the separate upstairs area where the kids can play if the adults want a break. Overall, really loved my stays here and plan on coming back again and again!"

I stayed at the cabin for an extended weekend a few weeks ago with three friends. We had a fantastic time. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped, the couches and beds were super comfortable, and the water pressure in the showers was great. The location of the cabin is also great -- a short, walkable distance to Snow Summit and the town. We all enjoyed the hot tub after hiking and kayaking and sitting at the patio table outside. We stayed here for a week and it was perfect for our family of 5! We have 3 boys and they had a blast in the game room. This home was really a home. We felt like we were at our own home. It had everything that we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with equipment and utensils. Living room was very spacious and clean along with the bedrooms. Bathrooms had towels, soap and shampoo.

What an incredible stay at this Cabin. The game loft was great for the kids and the layout worked perfectly to entertain during our stay. We love the fact it?s on a culdasac and the kids were able to get a pickup game of baseball out front. The home was clean and the mountain-modern decor helped deliver the perfect experience. We had a great time staying at the lodge. We were so close to downtown and the shops in the village. We even had a faster exit off the mountain than in other neighborhoods which was an advantage for us to get to our next destination. We love Big Bear!

Knew it was a lodge when booking, but we didn't realize that we all ended up with our own studios. Such a great surprise for us, and the kids enjoyed the space away from Mom and Dad; Mom and Dad felt safe knowing they were right next door.

We were nervous to rent one suite in a lodge, To our great surprise, we had a fun time enjoying the lodge with other guests doing the same. We had a great time around the shared firepit and the other guests. These impromptu meetings of strangers around a fire brought on singing songs and telling stories for the teens who never knew the 80s. A once-in-a-lifetime experience! We want to go back to Big Bear for that experience again!

We came to Big Bear to escape the 4th of July fireworks from Huntington Beach.. the home was clean and had central air and heat which was a big plus to us... two minor issues came up but the property management company took care of them within a couple hours of us letting them know of the issue... we were extremely impressed with everything.

This cabin is a hidden gem. It had everything we were looking for. Walking distance to the Village and a lovely backyard for our fur baby. The house is very well equipped with modern upscale appliances. The Jacuzzi and firepit on the back patio was a real treat for our kids, we roasted marshmallows on the fire. Can't wait to go back!

I have enjoyed many log cabin homes all my life, but this one was the perfect one ever. The cozy bear drew us in as soon as we drove up, and once inside, we felt right at home. We stayed at Blue Bear over the weekend and had a great time. It's close to local restaurants and bars. We rented bikes from the local bike shop which is in walking distance of the property. We recommend staying here when traveling to Big Bear.

My family and I stayed at this cozy chalet this past long weekend and had an incredible time. To sum it up in three words: location, comfort, and views! Location couldn't be better as it's tucked away from the busyness of Big Bear proper – the lake is a short drive down the road and it's central to grocery shopping like Vons, local establishments, and yummy restaurants. The house has a beautiful and expensive deck (two, to be exact) that provide lovely views of the lake and snowy (this time of year) mountains. The chalet has many comfortable blankets to offer and has the most comfortable couch - to top it off, there's a beautiful fireplace. This place is the best to decompress after a long day on the lake. Bonus points for this home having an abundance of fun things to do within the cabin! Pool table and nice sized TV for streaming (with great Wi-Fi).

We went to Big Bear for Father?s Day and it was the perfect spot for our family of 4. We were within minutes of Big Bear activities, shopping, and food. I stayed in this cabin for a few days and all I can say is my experience was great!!! I loved the peaceful, homey vibe of this place. I also like how the house was surrounded by trees, very relaxing! It was also a nice neighborhood so I felt really safe staying here. Definitely would come back!

This house lives up to its name, it doesn't only look like a tree house, it feels like you are in one as well. All the trees surrounding you with the epic view of the slopes is really a dream zen location. My family and I went for my mothers bday/mini family reunion and the house had all the accommodations. From board games, kid toys, kitchen fully stocked to make a full family feast and conveniently located close enough to stores. I stayed november 24th-27th. It was a beautiful, spacious and clean cabin. We loved that it was walking distance from the slopes and it had a jacuzzi. The spare house was just as cute as the main house, the pictures did not do this place justice. My friends and I enjoyed our stay and defiantly will be using their air b and b again in the future.

We stayed in March so we enjoyed the snow. Three levels beautifully decorated. The deck has a bbq and was huge and amazing! This was perfect for our family because as grandparents sometimes we need a time out😂 we had our own separate quarters with a full bathroom, refrigerator and dining and sitting area that included a big TV! We love renting this house. It's close to all activities. It's clean and comfortable. The pull out sofa mattress needs replacing because you can feel the bar underneath you. Other than that, we love coming here.

Just finished a holiday stay at this lovely cabin. We found it filled with rustic charm, comfortable beds, modern kitchen appliances, and an almost full surrounding deck + view. Along with the close by nature hikes, a super highlight was the full bloom Lilacs, which scented the whole yard.

Nice home. Gets the job done has a hot tub that works. Only bad thing is there is nothing to clean the hot tub with and the dishes like pots and pans are very dirty. So bring your own utensils. But the home is very nice

My family had an amazing stay at Bear Necessities. The location was ideal, offering both tranquility and convenience. It was a short walk/drive to the ski slopes and hiking trails, allowing us to indulge in various outdoor activities. The hot tub was a big bonus, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the area.

I recently stayed at Bear Necessities, and I must say it was an incredible experience! The cabin was nestled in a picturesque location with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Aside from few minor issues, we had a wonderful and great time staying in this cute cabin which is perfect for our small family.

Our family has been lucky enough to stay at this cabin 2 times now! And each time has been amazing! We have been very lucky to have gone up during the winter when there was snow and we were able to sled! The slope in the backyard is the perfect sledding hill and after sledding, you can jump in the jacuzzi to warm up! We can't wait to come back in summer time so we can enjoy the volleyball court! This house is also accommodating to the kids in the group, as it is stocked with board games for all ages and many beds! Downstairs also has foosball and an area just for kids with a set of twin beds. We were a large group and the kitchen was a dream! It has a great open layout and it is stocked with just about everything you could ever need. Lastly, the house is decorated wonderfully! You really get a modern cabin vibe with the decorations and wall hangings, and many of them are pictures or maps of Big Bear, which I think is really neat. We love spending our family time here, and cannot wait to come back!

I stayed at the Greer's Gambrel for a Girl's Weekend. We enjoyed the homey feel of the cabin. We enjoyed our lunch on the deck, hit the town for dinner and came back and enjoyed a glass of wine by the fire. There were plenty of books & games to choose from and the house is spotless! We had a fantastic day here! Our kids, especially loved the game room upstairs. We could hardly keep them downstairs with us. The house is equipped with anything you could possibly need. Perfect for ski vacation

This place was great to stay in, it had everything we needed for our 3 days stay. The appliances were up to date, the downstairs was perfectly furnished, and the up stairs loft was perfect. The downstairs heater made sure the whole place was warm and the upstairs heater kept the loft very warm for the cold nights. This is a great place to stair and enjoy your time in big bear.

The cabin was up to date with modern appliances, but yet rustic with the wood paneling, pot belly stove, and Rams head. It is only a couple of blocks or so from the Castle Rock hiking trail and within walking distance to the lake.

This place was so great! The owners clearly put a lot of thought into furnishing and stocking this home. They had everything we needed (and more)!! We had (3) small families stay here and there was plenty of space and so much fun entertainment for the kids! The game room was awesome! What a great place! Cozy, clean and fully stocked! Both our 7-year old and 17-year old loved the upstairs game room. The location was great and close to a really nice playground and skate park. We loved our stay in this cabin! The location was perfect, close to the lake and activities but far enough away to avoid lots of traffic. The cabin itself has all the necessities, plus little thoughtful bonuses like stuff for s?mores around the outdoor fire. The game room in the attic is super fun for kids! We had a fantastic stay at Cozy Pines. Home was super clean and well equipped with all of the essentials in the kitchen. Spacious backyard and we loved the wrap around deck leading to the hot tub which the kids were able to use both day and night. Fox Farm neighborhood is my favorite community in Big Bear, surrounded by all of the beautiful pines and was great for going on walks. Slopes are super close which makes for an easy drive over. Would not hesitate to rent the house again.

Great place, high quality and well worth it. I was able to spend the time I needed up in Big Bear and get my work done. This is a great cabin for those with children. They have a big lot so if you want to sled, you can do so. The owners have sleds in the garage that can be used. Highly recommended.. also, they are less than 1 mile from Bear Mountain and from the Zoo.

The cabin was spacious, clean, and very hospitable! It had everything we needed and the location was excellent - just a 10 min walk from Snow Summit. Even better, the driveway was large enough to hold 4 cars comfortably which befits a house of this size. Only thing was that the dishwasher was busted (or appeared broken) which we ended up using as a drying rack which still worked okay. Loved the place and would be happy to go back!

Save the neck for me Clark. It's was a wonderful holiday staying at the Division St Cabin. Plenty of space and room for multiply families, The arcade was a big hit. We had PAC MAN high scores competitions with the kids and adults. The spa after a long day was just kickass. The kitchen where we would gather the most is big and spacious. We found the large kitchen island was perfect for serving food and sitting at talking. We like that the cabin is close to grocery stores and all the conveniences we needed for our trip. This 3 BR, 1 BA was decorated for the holiday season inside & out to greet us. Interior decorations echo the popular bears & pines area themes. The kitchen, dining, living & bed room areas are well furnished & stocked with formal & informal dishes, cutlery, coffee machine, convenient small appliances to include a dishwasher & quality linens. We found the owner-provided bound manual on the table under the TV convenient to use and so helpful. Snow was on the ground & the gas stove in the living room was cozy!

Cozy Pines was excellent and every bit as advertised. Loved the neighborhood and proximity to supermarket / Starbucks and the slopes. The house was perfect for our family and we even brought our big dog who loved the backyard. The outdoor fire pit and sleds were perfect to use during while it snowed. We also used the indoor fireplace every night and watched movies. We liked having the option to watch TV in every room (even the dining room/kitchen) and both showers got super warm. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the equipment that we needed to prepare and serve our Thanksgiving meal. We loved the layout of everything, including a bedroom and bathroom downstairs for Grandma and Grandpa. The beds were very comfortable. The management answered our questions right away and went out of their way to help us find something. We are planning on choosing this cabin when we want to get away in the mountains next time.

The mud porch is great fro storing bicycles. The back deck is excellent. The neighborhood is so quiet and you're less than two blocks from hiking and cycling trails.

The house was clean and well cared for besides the refrigerator being broken the back up refrigerator worked out well. Plenty of room for everyone my wife and daughter loved all of the amenities. There?s a couple of small stores nearby for groceries. We would stay here again very comfortable can?t say enough about this warm home

There is no way to put into a single review all the wonderful things about this property, Jack Frost Cabin in Fawnskin. Let me start off by saying, we are a family of 5, (3 school aged kids and a dog makes 6). We love hiking and lived in Colorado for a time, so we know mountains. We've stayed in Big Bear before, and can honestly say we now prefer the north side of the lake. Fawnskin is more spaced out and private. The town itself is tiny, but there is a convenience store. You're not on top of the neighbors, it's quieter, less traffic, and feels more like the mountains. The pictures of the view from the porch speak for themselves, every time we looked out the big windows that covered the entire side of the cabin, we were mesmerized by the lake view. The big wrap-around porch was perfect for coffee in the mornings, listening to birds, whittling sticks, inspecting pinecones, spying lizards, and lucky for us, viewing fireworks! I assume the town put on a display for Labor Day, it was spectacular and an unexpected treat. This cabin had a ton of little unexpected treats, from the spacious parking, to the décor and spaces, to the amenities. The great room with the views has a table, fireplace and big couch that all of us fit on for our nightly shows on the big screen, and the cabin has wifi. The round table with the built-in bench was our favorite place to enjoy meals, play games and plan our days. I actually liked that the kitchen was separate, the stove worked well for cooking up eggs, and we grilled our dinners off the back patio. Having a full laundry room was amazing, since 5 people in and out of the hot tub creates a lot of wet towels and suits. Oh yes, there is a hot tub! So nice to jump into after a long day of hiking once the sun was setting and the air was cool. Also good for star and moon gazing. One time the jets stopped, we think because the water level got too low, there's a hose on the side of the house to top it off, and perhaps we just didn't know how to work it. I can't be sure the kids just didn't push too many buttons so keep them from doing that! The sleeping spaces were awesome. The main level bedroom has an enormous soft bed, like floating on a cloud, with really nice blankets and pillows, a wonderful ceiling fan/light and some cool side table lamps. There is also a small room on the main level with 2 bunkbeds and a dresser. The bathrooms work! Can't say that about some cabins so need to mention it. The shower and toilets work just fine and were clean, with plenty of towels and toilet paper provided, and even soap and little shampoo and conditioners. Back to the kitchen to mention it was also well stocked with dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans and cooking utensils. There was even some salt, pepper, oil and spices above the stove. The microwave and dishwasher work and served us well. I recommend hitting the Vons or Stater Bros as early as possible to avoid the crowds, and the cabin's fridge/freezer was cold and spacious. We packed coffee grounds and filters, but found no coffee maker and instead a new Keurig machine, so we got some pods and enjoyed that immensely. The downstairs level of this cabin was kid heaven. The bed is a memory foam, super comfy. And how awesome to have an original Pacman arcade! Dad actually still had his skills from back in the day and wowed the kids with his Pacman abilities, it was great to hear them cheering him on. It was even greater to have the kids downstairs being their loud, silly selves while we enjoyed barely hearing it upstairs, the separation of space was glorious. As I mentioned in the beginning we are a hiking family, and this cabin is located between two of the best hiking trails in the area, Grays Peak and Cougar Crest. Highly recommend both and to start as early in the morning as possible to beat the heat, and pack a backpack as full as possible with water. The dog really loved the hikes, and the kids got into the groove and before long were leading the pack and singing together, finding cool rocks to build cairns with, and not on their screens for hours without complaint!! A true parents dream! Even back at the cabin there was so much to explore, they had little interest in their devices, which we absolutely loved. Speaking of heat, it was a cool 78 at noon at the top of the trail in Fawnskin, while friends back home were reporting temps as high as 105-110, so definitely recommend going in the summer to beat the heat, the breezes under the trees on our hikes were so refreshing, but I still recommend plenty of water, bug spray and sunscreen. As for other things to do, I would highly recommend the Water Slide in town after a long hike, $15 gets you 10 rides each, and they had an absolute blast. I also recommend the Alpine Zoo, where you really get up close and personal with some magnificent creatures and learn a lot about rehabilitation and conservation. We were literally walking distance to Captain Johns Fawn Marina but sadly due to water levels it was temporarily closed, we will look forward to enjoying that next time. I recommend calling the week of your trip to see if they are operational, you can rent canoes and there's a Jungle Float for the kids that looked like it would be fun. Last thing I'll mention, the hosts were absolutely lovely, gracious and attentive, so generous and good natured. I was honestly blown away by their hospitality and care. So, it's an understatement when I say I highly recommend Jack Frost cabin! 10 stars!!! - Stephanie F

This was a lovely property that had everything we needed for our fun getaway. Lots of spots for everyone to sleep and gather. There were adorable critters roaming around outside as we had our breakfast on the patio. Nice quiet street that's perfect for walks around the neighborhood. I would absolutely recommend this home for anyone that's looking to head to the mountains for some rejuvenating breathing room.

My family and I enjoyed our 2-night stay here. The cabin was adorable. The pool table was a lot of fun. It?s across the street from Pineknot trailhead. The cabin does get hot during the heat of the day, but there were tons of box fans to alleviate that. During the evening, the cabin cooled down nicely.

This is our second annual family trip to the amazing house. There is so much room inside and outside the house for the kids to have fun. The house come with a lot of games, we love playing cornhole on the deck and the kids love playing pool. It was perfect for the dogs since there is a fenced in back yard and water bowls for the dogs. Very quit residence and well appointed and within driving distant of shopping areas. My only gripe was when we arrived there were no paper towels ,this was on Friday texted Vacasa with a gentlemen named Sid said he would contact someone in housekeeping to look into it. Tuesday a knock on the door was a gentlemen that delivered a tea pot . We explained that we needed paper towels not a tea pot. never heard from no one after that . The home was exactly as pictured. Sometimes you get there and find out that the pictures were a bit deceiving. This was not the case at Balboa Big Bear. We were so very well pleased and it was the perfect weekend to the start of our summer. Everything was seamless. Thank you for such a great stay. We hope to be back. I recently had the opportunity to go to Big Bear. I stayed at this darling lodge.It showed very well, just like photos. I was very pleased! It was super comfy with a little rustic vibe to it. All the comforts of home included, plus some beautiful outdoor space with a Hot-tub/Jacuzzi. I will definitely be back again!!

I like this cabin. My family had a good time here. Lots of kids' toys, free arcade, pinball and skee-ball machine. Fire pit, and fireplace are so nice. They provide firewood too. Only thing is check-in time is late at 4pm and check out is at 10am. I wish it could be earlier to check in.

We stayed at two other places in Big Bear and this was definitely the best. The cabin was very nice, quiet and comfortable. The cabin is beautiful and had lots of space to sit and fun ammenities. The backyard area if fun with a jacuzzi and you can also see the people skiing the mountain from the fire pit. We made a snowman and sled in the backyard also. It was amazing time, the place was so great, and I highly recommend.

It was great vacation and reconnect with my college classmates. Big Bear is the best and Snow Place Like Home is the best in Big Bear. We cooked at home and had fun playing games in the guest house/game house. We also went to the zoo, I highly recommend. The house is a 10 min walk to the zoo and a 10 min walk the Bear Mountain. We also ran into other old friends on the mountains which added to the fun. But at Big Bear you always run into friends.

Not only was big bear beautiful as always, but the cabin we chose was amazing. It was clean, has everything you need, games, medicine, huge tv's for music, movies ect. You walk in and you see that gorgeous view. It couldn't have been better than that. This cabin is really one of my favorites because I feel as if I'm home, it's a perfect size for me, Friends and family. It's super cozy and up to date it's a really snow place like home.

Spent the weekend in December 2021 in the Snow Place Like Home Cabin. The Cabin is very comfortable with plenty of beds. The best parts of the house are the Jacuzzi, which is great on a cold night and the Guest House. There are video games, shuffle board, poker table in the guest house. Having the fun guest house allowed those sleepy from snowboarding all day to sleep while the rest of us had fun in the other house. I highly recommend Snow Place Like Home.

After spending this last week in the Snow Place Like Home Big Bear Cabin, I could not have been happier. Upon arrival we were extremely ecstatic! We were shocked in how clean and beautiful the house is. All of my friends could not stop playing all the games in the guest house. Also the poker table in the guest house made for some interesting nights of $ and drinks. We were pleasantly surprised with how close we were to the mountain. We even walked a few days to the mountain to board a few days. The house accommodated to all of our big group needs and we probably could have fit a few more in the house. Thanks for giving me and my friends a fantastic week!

We had a really great time. The house is in great shape, definitely not old. All our friends had a great time. The house is a 10 min walk to Bear Mountain, some days we were dropped off, but when we were done it was an easy walk to the house. The highlights of the house is the extra house which was a fun place to hang out and watch games and play games. I also loved the night jacuzzi after a day on the slopes.

We visited in the Spring and were escorted up the mountain by the gorgeous blooming Scotch Broom lining both sides of the road. It was like discovering a goldmine and a must see! The cabin was perfectly located on a quiet culdesac: with a front porch to enjoy the birds and have coffee in the mornings, and super comfy beds with layers of comforters and pillows for the nights. We recommend both The Broadway Cafe (order the deep fried potato balls) and Get the Burger (super friendly staff ). We will be back!

The house was in good shape had everything we needed for our family snowboarding trip. We visited on a no so busy time so access wasnt an issue , I could see it get more difficult in peak season being that it is in the access street so snow summit.

The house was very roomy and comfortable. The first day we stayed we went to the grocery store and added some drinks into fridge. It took half a day for everything to finally get cold. We tried to bake ruebens in the oven the second night and the oven wouldn't heat up. They definitely need to make those repairs but other than that the house was nice and clean.

Nice cabin for a couple. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, it was clean upon arrival, nice bathroom, comfortable bed, a nice deck in the back.

What a lovely place to stay! Our boys loved the bunk bed set up in cabin, and we had plenty of space to hang out after a long day of skiing. So close to the ski resorts as well as the shuttles if you do not have a car, or just cannot find parking. Highly recommend.

We loved this cabin! It was very clean and spacious. The back house has a game room. It was so much and fun we didn't even leave the first day because of all of the games to play! The kitchen is fully equipped to cook a nice meal as well. At night, we enjoyed going into the spa and sitting by the firepit. We will be back when it snows because it is right next to the ski lift! Right from the moment you walk in the door you can see the care and detail that was put into this beautiful home. It has all the special touches to make you feel at home. It was nicely decorated and had everything we could possibly need! A great loft area with giant tv, shuffleboard, Nintendo for kids or teens and a large size bunk bed. The upstairs and downstairs beds in the bedrooms were also super comfy. Bathrooms had all the toiletries you would need. Fireplace, record player, and games in the game closet for all ages! This charming cabin is situated near the lake and we had access to nearby hiking trails and a yummy pie shop. Everything is like new, if not new. Loved drinking my coffee on the balcony, breathing in fresh air and listening to birds and animals squirreling around. I plan to stay in this clean and cozy cabin again in the near future. The view from the deck and the tranquility were priceless. It was like having your own retreat. The neighborhood was both quiet and beautiful. I really enjoyed the nearby park, the lakeview a few blocks from the house, and all the restaurants and shopping that were literally a stone's throw from the house. The red and green cabin was attractive and different from other homes. Everything inside seemed new--large sofas with electric recliners, beds and mattresses, dining table and chairs, night stands, etc. The large family room was spacious and comfortable. I liked the second dining table that was in the corner that we used to play games. We grilled our own fish and meat on the brand new grill on the patio. The extra large backyard and the view to the protected land behind the house were very special. Our family will definitely visit again in the near future." Ted K.

We had an incredibly comfortable stay at Balboa at Big Bear. We were welcomed by the smell of a freshly cleaned house and beautiful, updated décor. The house looks even better in person and the location is close to everything in Big Bear. We enjoyed the retro vibes of the record player, the VHS system complete with classic movies, and the old school game console and then got back to watching the game on the smart TVs. Our favorite part was the 2nd story balcony with hammocks and a gas fire pit which made for ideal family time stargazing with hot chocolate. Our stay at this cabin was comfortable and pleasant. The cabin was cleaned and prepared very well. It is as advertised. The main room is pretty large open area and comfortable to hang out for friends and family. Roku TV was awesome. We did play a couple games of pool. The kitchen has everything we needed and well equipped. The hot tub was hot and ready and towels were provided (so don`t bring towels).

Because we were there on weekdays, the area was very quiet. The rental places around us were empty

What a great property to stay at! Everything was very clean, and it felt like home from the moment we checked in. My family absolutely loved the game room. We decided to have a move night in there one night and the kids got to float in the pool with popcorn and the adults got to hang out in the jacuzzi. They have a popcorn maker and a ton of vintage games to play in the pool room/game room! I couldn't tell you who had more fun, the kids or adults! My husband would not stop talking about how great the showers and bathrooms are the whole weekend we were there. I think this means we need to update our bathroom when we get home lol. It is my first time in Big Bear and I'm glad I rented this property. This 100 year old house is a charmer—the interior is completely restored yet it has all modern furniture and amenities. Every toilet has a seat-warming bidet that comes in handy on cold winter nights. The gourmet kitchen with the under counter fridge is sparkling clean and in the middle of all the action so no one gets left out even if they're cooking or prepping meals. I think I had the best sleep of my life in our bedroom, all beds have pillowtop mattresses with down comforters and high quality sheets. My husband and I didn't want to leave!

We really enjoyed staying in this house, it has something for everyone. The adults can hang out in the Cowboy/Old West Saloon and gambling hall to drink some beers and play poker—it’s the ultimate mancave/hangout yet it feels like taking a step back in time. The outdoor fire pit in the backyard is crazy huge—it can easily fit 16 people. You would expect to find one at a hotel or a big resort, not a private house like this! Our group had a wonderful time grilling and eating outside by the fire. The owner also allows smoking outside so that’s a bonus. Another plus is that they have 5 dedicated parking spaces, which you can seldom find in Big Bear. We had an amazing stay and would surely recommend this place to friends and family.

This property is great for multi-family sharing. It is quite spacious and sleeps 14, but there are also a lot of spots where you could have quiet time and of course areas where you could congregate together as a group. We fell in love with the huge front porch with chairs and swings that are perfect for hanging out and talking. However, the kids practically lived in the area by the indoor pool. They played Skee-Ball and Pacman and of course went swimming. The pool and jacuzzi even has a disco ball! How cool is that? Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Fox Lodge and we will definitely be back someday!

This place is a gem! They have a giant couch that can seat 10, fireplaces and fire pits everywhere, giant TVs, an indoor pool and jacuzzi. Rooms are super comfy and the décor is topnotch. The games and jukebox were a hit with the kids. They also have a cool guestbook where you get to paint your own rock and leave a memory. Every detail in the house is well thought of and we appreciate that.

We had a great time and truly enjoyed our stay. Only two downfalls?the first night we sat down to dinner my husband sat in a chair that had been taped together at the back __. The other thing was not one restroom or bedroom door had any locks on the doors so we had to make a family pack to close doors if your inside and leave them open when it?s empty.__

We had amazing experience and would highly recommend. Home itself is very new and well built, which makes it feel like a homey, comfortable and luxurious all the same time. The furnishings were also very high end, beds and bed sheets were all new and extremely comfortable and couch was really comfy to sit on while playing board games (many of which were provided by owner). There is also a single car garage with access from inside the house, garage had plenty of room to store bikes, skis, etc making it easy to get in the car without being exposed to the elements. Clean and modern house. Very close to the ski resort, but in a very quiet neighborhood. Everything was great and we enjoyed our stay. Vacasa was very responsive to any questions or requests that we had. The only issue we had was with the bathrooms on the first floor. The locks were broken and we couldn't lock the doors. Also there are security cameras on the outside of the house, which was a little strange and we felt like we didn't have privacy.

We enjoyed the stay at this cabin mostly because of the relaxing enviroment, it is well placed in a calm community. It is close to the highway and castle rock trail which has an amazing view. Boulder bay park is also close with an amazing sunset view at the lake. The cabin is very clean and well stocked, it has everything you need to stay for days.

Absolutely love this place. It's got amazing vintage style, from the themed bedrooms (Chalet, Fish, and Cowboy) and the amazing top floor room with a view that's perfect for coffee. Back patio is great with a patio set to sit back and relax.

We had an excellent time. Our only hiccup was the washing machine was down and a vendor showed up to fix it, after we had told Turn Key that we did not want visitors due to COVID-19. On the upsiade we received a lot of snow, and the maintenance supervisor was great and dropped off some salf/ice melt for us to assist with keeping the walkway and driveway clear. This cabin was perfect for 4 adult's, it's in a very quiet area, close to the city, starbucks, Grocery store, and snow rentals. It has a full kitchen so you can make your meals, just make sure you bring your own oils, and condiments. I would definitely stay here again.

My family needed a weekend getaway this cabin was perfect and well clean and updated the hot tub was very relaxing. Love the open kitchen .The location is not a far drive to the groceries stores, food , Starbucks, and 6 min drive to Big Bear Marina. I would recommend this to anyone. It allows up to 9 people but could easily fit more the Parking you can only have four cars so travel accordingly. Does not have AC but the house stayed cool during the day . It also had fans in every room for all you fan sleeper

We have stayed in Big Bear multiple times now over the years and by far, this was our favorite place. Everything you need or want was in this cabin. We have two small dogs and we are always concerned about a fenced backyard. No issues there with the exception of a small gap in the swing gate, which was easily secured. From the beginning of our reservation it was an great experience, easy, communication was great, when we arrived my family and I just loved it,clean, located really close to everything. Peaceful, relaxing, close to shops but not to close. Will stay again when possible. Upstairs really isn`t for adults except for the bathroom. (Sloop roof, children yes). Nice backyard for dogs.

Loved the rustic character of this 90 year old cabin.... It was set back up away from town which was so quiet and serene.... there were hiking trails we could walk to from the cabin and the lake was a short drive away. It was great to be able to come back in the evening and sit out back in the jacuzzi too.

We booked this at the last minute for a quick getaway and couldn't have been more pleased. This place has both a modern upgraded style and a genuine cabin feel at the same time. The description says it sleeps 6 but I think it's more like 8. 3 couples and two kid bunk bed. As for the amenities, everything worked great, including the heat. I've been to some cabins where you freeze your butt off because the heating is subpar. Anyhow, the cabin has a great view of the ski slopes and a partial view of the lake. Very quiet and very serene. Just down the road from the cabin on Moonridge, there is a cozy little coffee shop/pastry shop ( Moonridge coffee company) that we stopped at several times for cappuccinos and food. It was a quick trip for us but we will be returning soon. Highly recommend.

Cozy and spacious home. We had a wonderful stay at this bright and well supplied condo. I felt that having the living room and kitchen on the first floor suited me. Since I wake up early, I could drink my coffee and watch TV without bothering the rest of my family and friends. I also like that the rental office is only a couple hundred feet away in case I needed information. I've rented flats before and I realized I missed having an office a few steps away. The condo is very close to restaurants, shopping, and skiing. I highly recommend it for a friend's getaway or family vacation.

This house was perfect for our weekend getaway!! It was nestled on top of a hill with a pretty clear view of the lake! It was spacious, perfect for our group. The loft was our favorite part, filled with games and movies. We loved the backyard area from the furniture to the Jacuzzi. We will be looking forward to staying here once again in the near future! We had to problems and Big Big Vacation Rentals showed great service and it was much appreciated.

"The owners have done a great job of updating and decorating, having linen and housekkeeping services was a relief. The cabin is nicely appointed small but perfect for a few people and we only had 3. There were a few things that bothered me. We had to wash dishes to use them also pans and silverware. The wall beside the toilet was soiled, the blinds in the livingroom and loft are broken. The shovels were down the hill in the snow and one is broken. There are 2 bags of trash on the hill below the deck. There were beer bottle caps and a gatorade bottle under the ottoman. None of the smoke detectors work. There are cob webs everywhere. It sounds like we had a terrible time but actually we had a great time except for those issues. I just think the owner should know how their money is being used. The front office gave me a number Sunday am to help us get out of the driveway, i called about 830, and got voicemail. An hour later i called again while my daughter tried to get her car out, he answered at the same time she got out. I said nevermind, we just got out, thank you anyway and just hung up. He called back and zaid he was in his church service and didnt appreciate being hung up on. Then he told me to delete his number from my phone, he shouldnt be referred or he should not answer his phone if he doesnt want to be bothered.. Please understand we did like the rental process and property but the owners deserve better as do the renters"

What a fabulous home to host our Girls Getaway! The home is lovely, nicely decorated, cozy living room, beds are very comfortable and the kitchen had all the necessities that we needed for our weekend. There were 7 of us and we all agreed we would definitely stay here again! We gave it 5 stars because the home provided all that we could have asked for. An added bonus is it's really close to restaurants and shopping. Great place to stay at!!! 🙂

This cabin is so spacious and well appointed, it easily accommodated our large group of 10 adults. The spacious kitchen and large family room with fireplace was the perfect gathering spot for dining together, playing games and watching TV...when we weren't spending time in The Village., which is an easy 10 minute walk from the cabin. I highly recommend this home, and looking forward to booking our next visit!

The living room is very open and comfy to hang out in. The game room is great we watched football and played pool. The kids also hung out there. Master bedroom is lovely with spacious spa bathtub. But all the mattresses were uncomfortable. Everyone in our group complained about not sleeping well. I woke up with a stiff neck. The kitchen is very small and ill equipped. No cookie sheets, oven mitts or good knives. If you're going to bake you might bring your own bakeware.

This house/cabin is very warm and cozy. They mixed cabin decor with modern kitchen amenities. It has everything already from pots and pans, towels, extra blankets, cot, blender and so on. The location is close to everything, liquor store around the corner, Big Bear Ave that has all the stores is about 2 blocks away. The place is also clean. I would love to come back here again!

The "Sweet Spot" cabin is absolutely delightful!! Very clean with modern decor, furnishings and linens. Bedrooms are spacious; second bedroom accommodated our daughter, son in law, and 4 and 1 year olds! Beautifully remodeled kitchen is fully equipped. Nice bathroom has a full size tub/shower. We were the first family to try this new listing from Big Bear Vacations. It was an awesome place. The cabin was cozy with a nice fire place that can heat up the whole place. All the art and wood carvings made it cozy. Everything was clean and so comfortable. We could have stayed another week. The owners did a great job getting this cabin ready. Incredible place! Beautiful scenery, quite neighborhood, perfect place to come and relax for the weekend. Beautiful fully furnished inside, very clean, fully equipped with cups and everything we need. We are beyond happy we chose big bear vacations and the I Love View house for our weekend get away.

This cabin is perfect! My family of 4 enjoyed our stay there immensely. Perfect floor plan for staying warm and enjoying family! My son celebrated his 11th birthday on one of the days we were there and the home was perfect for celebrating his birthday in. We even had everything we needed to make dinner and watch the playoffs on TV. You will love the location as this cabin is really close to everything. Thank you for providing such a great memory for my family. This is truly a great cabin!

We loved it, had a blast, shoveled alot of snow only thing it needed was a jacuzzi not sure if we would have braved the cold to get in though!

The house is very lovely, decor has a cabin feel to it which makes it very cozy. It has everything in it. The only things that you have to bring are your toiletries and the food that you're going to cook, if you're planning to cook. It even has a rice cooker, a cot and extra comforters. It's about 2 blocks from Big Bear Avenue where all the restaurants and equipments for rent are. I will definitely stay here again.

We have used this company a few times. This particular time I felt compelled to write a review. We stayed in ""1614- MooseHaus"" and was very pleased. The hot tub was cleaned and turned on for us, the pool table was a blast, the fireplace came with wood and kindle, the beds were comfy, the BBQ had propane ready for us, and the owners had logged into their Netflix so we could watch movies. There were plenty of board games for all ages. We played Yahtzee! One note...their was WIFI their but the user name/password did not work. We didn't follow up to find out the correct information because the cabin was entertaining enough. The staff at Big Bear Vacations were very friendly, helpful, and communicate very well. Although the prices are steep for the cabins...we found it to be worth it. By the way thanks for the ChapStick! Surprisingly ChapStick is very important in such high altitude."

Fantastic place! Convenient location just off Big Bear Blvd, comfortable beds, perfect temperature inside the condo. Our "chef" gives the kitchen 5 stars - very nicely stocked and the (small) gas grill outside was a nice plus. Great living room and decent bathrooms. Only complaints were there were no paper towels or napkins in the kitchen and one of the bathrooms could have been a little cleaner. We would definitely stay there again!

This is the BEST Big Bear Cabin. We have rented this beautiful cabin several times and have had the best experience. From the Spa being heated 27/7 to wonderful fireplace and the huge back yard. We love this peaceful, clean and beautiful Big Bear Home. We can't wait to go back again!!!!!!

Stayed for 3 nights with our 2 dogs. Backyard was nice. the house was very clean but could use some better utensils.  the house was comfortable and close to everything. We enjoyed our stay and would rent again.

This is a great cabin at a great price. It is centrally located as to you never have to drive more a couple of miles to go anywhere (slopes, bowling alley, stores...). It has a queen size bed in the bedroom downstairs and two queen size beds in the loft?space is used wisely. We were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The kitchen is fully equipped and everything is clean. I did not give it a 5-star because the dryer was not working?quite the inconvenience when you are skiing all day and clothing is wet, and walkway was icy?perhaps snow should be shoveled as a courtesy to guests. It was a minor inconvenience though...and, we were refunded 20% of the final price to compensate for the dryer not working. Overall, we loved the cabin and would definitely recommend it.

We had the opportunity to celebrate our anniversary on a 3 day getaway, and found this wonderful cabin in Big Bear. Upon arriving we were thrilled to see the wood burning stove, we made a fire immediately! This cabin is great for a few couples or a Family. There was a brand new air hockey table, TV w/cable and plenty of room for playing card games on the cafe style tables in the game room. . We were impressed by a beautiful kitchen with nice appliances and all the amenities. Can't wait unti we go back in the spring!

My family has booked the place and I wanted to say we are on the way as of today. While they were booking with big bear vacations, I was doing the same. I researched and contacted this company as well and everything was professional. My cousin was able to find exactly everything we needed so I backed off. I will be completing a review next week after our experience in the cabin. But so far, booking was great without any issues.

We book a cabin at least once a year in Big Bear. Many times the photos are deceiving. In this case no. The cabin is spacious and has been totally renovated from granite counter tops to new carpeting, new appliances, etc...The bedrooms are spacious where so many are not. The master was great and the bed was one that I looked at to see which brand it was as it was so comfortable. Albeit the cabin is on Clubview Drive you get a real cool vibe in the afternoons when the slow parade of Bear Mountain patrons passes slowly by. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would stay there again for sure. We left a new jacket behind and the staff made sure that it was found and it is now on its way to us. Yeah!

"Pro's- Great location, walking distance to resort BUT doesn't matter because the back yard was excellent fun for the kids. We preferred to stay at the house for the most part. We took the kids tubing just for the experience but once we were amongst the crowds we opted to go back to the house. Lots of room inside for 10 people to hang out comfortably. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishware. The indoor hot tub was clean and a big hit. Cons- No wi-fi, no cable. The amount of stairs inside was a bit exhausting so be prepared if carrying heavy travel needs. House needs quite a bit of updating but for a few days stay it was fine. The flooring is scary in some parts of the house due to water damage. Two futons were broken, so two of our sons slept on the sofas. Over all our stay was fun and mostly comfortable. Due to that fantastic back yard area and plenty of room inside, we will consider staying here again. I hope the owners considers offering wi-fi and cable. Staff was friendly and check in was fast and easy. No issues that we couldn't work around during our stay."

We stayed at this property from a Friday- Sunday with a few other couples (6 people total). We drove up from San Diego and had a blast. The bedrooms were spacious and we loved having the 2 different living areas. Pool table in game room was really fun to have. Hot tub of course was a huge plus with great views of the lake. We didn't end up bringing our daughter, but I think the property is also ideal for kids due to the large open backyard.... and the views were spectacular from back porch and upstairs bedrooms. We have stayed at numerous properties in Big Bear on both sides of the lake. This was by far the best! Just a great overall package.

We spent a great weekend during Octoberfest at the cabin. It was extremely comfortable for all of us. Kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, including the laundry facilities. Easy access to the lake, hiking areas & shops. Everything was extremely clean, quiet neighborhood and friendly neighbors. We look forward to returning again!

Great place to stay. Close to everything. Nice quite neighborhood. 2 nice size bed rooms on second floor and a special little loft for all the kids on the 3rd floor. We had a small problem and called the office and it was handled rather nicely. Highly recommended people to do business with.

This cabin was fantastic. It Had a great backyard setting with deck and bar bbq, very relaxing. Very warm, spacious and cozy. It also had a wonderful kitchen, fully equipped with everything we needed. We had a great time playing games and cards at a very large dining room table. Sleeping arrangements were perfect. We will definitely be back to this wonderful mountain retreat.

We've stayed at this cabin a number of times and it's always been a great experience. The cabin has an updated kitchen and all of the bedrooms are good size. In addition, we have so much fun using the billiards table and the jacuzzi (especially after a long day of skiing on the slopes). Highly recommend!

Wonderful cabin with lots of space. Each room is spaced out enough to offer each privacy. Perfect for a family or a group of adults. The location is the best part. Walking distance to the town center in less than 10 minutes.

"We just got back from a long, relaxing weekend of renting this cabin. There is lots of room in this cabin and could comfortably sleep 8. One of the major highlights was the lovely jacuzzi hot tub! The only thing we really didn't like about the cabin was that, with the exception of the kitchen, the entire place is carpeted (yes, bathrooms too). The cabin appeared mostly well maintained and nearly everything was in working order. I was disappointed that the heater thermostat apparently was programmed to drop to 32 degrees at nighttime and we woke up freezing, having to wait for the house to heat back into the 60s. A few issues we encountered: - We were not alerted to there being an alarm in the cabin and it went off for at least 5 minutes on arrival until I was able to read the ""cheat sheet"" provided to find the code. - The refrigerator ice chute is broken and was hanging open in such a way that cold air was escaping and frost had developed in the freezer (it had been clearly broken for a while). I rammed some cardboard in the chute to keep it closed and emptied the ice maker so we could have fresh, unfrosted ice. - The DVD player's HDMI cable was unplugged from the back of the TV and I had to spend some time determining why it was not working and plug it back in. Unfortunately the DVD also doesn't use the sound system in the living room, so we were stuck with the TV's speakers, which were subpar to say the least. - Some lamps are not working either due to burnt out bulbs or plain ole just do not work. - The stove top burners had great difficulty lighting (especially the right side) and it would be helpful to have it serviced or at least have matches in the cabin. - The garage was inaccessible (locked without provided key). Although I don't think the listing said we could park in the garage (which I wish we could have), the listing did mention a washer/dryer and that was no where to be found in the house, so I assume it was in the garage? Overall, we enjoyed our time away from the city and think this cabin is a solid 3 stars!"

Perfect cabin for a weekend getaway! Spacious, very clean, and well-kept. It was nice to have cable tv in every bedroom as well as comfortable beds. They provided us with clean bed sheets, clean bath towels, and bathroom toiletries. The living room not only had an awesome fooseball table but also had a good variety of board games, which was fun to play while the wood burning fire kept us nice and toasty. The kitchen was perfect for us to cook in and had everything we needed including pots/pans, utensils, plates, cups, etc. There is plenty of sitting room inside as well as the spacious patio, perfect to relax and have drinks while BBQing. If you don't plan on cooking at the cabin, it's in an ideal location, close to many restaurants and stores. I would definitely recommend this cabin and plan on renting it again in the near future.

We had the best time in this cabin! The space easily and comfortably accommodated our large group of adults. I LOVED that there were bedrooms on three levels because I always worry I will be too hot or beg everyone to sleep too cold. With three sleeping levels I felt like we could all pick a level to sleep "just right". However all the common area, including the HUGE kitchen was nicely grouped together for our evening gatherings in front of the fire. There was plenty of parking on an actual driveway and another fabulous feature was we WALKED to town for drinks and dinner each day. I've never been able to stay so close to town and loved that it made us leave the cars at home. We didnt even need a designated driver 🙂

We enjoyed the cabin and the amenities. It included a larger kitchen and plenty of room at the kitchen table. New TV's throughout as well as a foosball table, spa and large backyard. 10 min walk to the Village for local shopping and dining. Quiet neighborhood too.

Had a great time in Big Bear. This cabin was clean, modern, spacious and well equipped with hockey table. My family really enjoyed our stay here. If you ever stay in Big Bear look for this cabin Bear Cub Den #1724 you will enjoy your stay and price is reasonable.

It was spacious and convenient to all areas of interest. It was bright and cheery. We missed having a dining room table and had to sit on bar stools to eat.We missed having washing machine and dishwasher soap and suggest that you bring your own. Also, if you want everyone to see the TV in the living room you have to rearrange the chairs. Our room with double beds had no reading lamps. All in all it was fairly cozy but had too many empty cabinets with no supplies.

This is our 4th year in a row at Juniper Creek, great lil cabin and property ! Close to everything and located in a Awesome Neighborhood.

We came to Moose Meadows with our two kids (4 and 1 years old) to share a family vacation with my in laws. The cabin was amazing. Large enough to have personal space, but still small enough to be cozy, it was kid friendly and close to everything: hiking, parks, the lake, restaurants. If you're staying in, the large fireplace and well-stocked television make for great holiday movie snuggling by the fire. There are plenty of board games and table space for everything from uno for the kids to poker for the grown ups (they have cards and chips). If you want to hang out on the spacious patio, there is an amazing fire pit to roast marshmallows over and a well-stocked firewood pile. There were toys, a high chair and a pack and play for the baby, and lots of fun local adventure for the bigger kid. The kitchen is well appointed, the beds are cozy, the decor is delightfully cabin-y and the downstairs bathroom shower is luxurious. We had a great time and are definitely coming back!

This home is an excellent choice if you like upgraded and clean living spaces. It has all of the necessities and is newly remodeled. The kitchen had everything we needed to BBQ and cook. The front porch and outside BBQ area provides a quiet area to enjoy the mountain scenery. The neighborhood is quiet and the house is immaculate. We will rent this home again!

If you like quiet, privacy, and a beautiful lake view consider Frank's old Bear. Nothing fancy, but adequate space and house is well stocked with kitchen equipment for food prep & eating utensils. Location is not far off Bear Valley Rd., so you don't have to drive far to shop or find activities to do. The grand kids and I had a good time.

"WOW! So impressed with this Cabin. I had never been to Big Bear during the summer before, but this cabin's location was perfect for it. I came here with a group of girls for a bachelorette party and our first day we wanted to go for a hike. The cabin is walking distance from the lake which has plenty of great trails to walk along. It is also super close to the store and many restaurants, which made grocery trips and meals out very convenient. Second, the cabin... what a gorgeous place. Not only was it nice, there was free wifi, a smart TV that you could rent movies/watch Netflix/etc., and lots of games to play. There is even a full on game room in the garage with a pool table, pinball machine, and ping pong table. I mean seriously... you could go out... or you could just stay in and have a blast with your friends or family! Lastly, there were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all the girl. There were 5 of us...and you can only imagine how difficult it can be for 5 girls to get ready, but this cabin had plenty of space. I would highly recommend this cabin. I will definitely be back to stay!"

Recently stayed at this beautiful cabin while in Big Bear and I couldn't have picked a better place! It was well kept and in a great location..walking distance to the lake, very close to the grocery stores, and the Village is near by. Loved the game room..very well stocked with games and a cozy TV area. Would love to spend more time at this cabin and the owners were very nice and easy to interact with..highly recommend! Will definitely book again!!

We really enjoyed our stay here at big pines. The cabin was small but very comfortable and worth the price. Loved how close it was located to the lake. The service was great from all staff. And would definitely recommend this cabin for couple or anyone on a lone adventure. Will definitely be coming back!

An awesome big cabin that looks just like the photos. The cabin has TV's with streaming services, a pool table, ping pong, and pinball. While the cabin is close to everything, the great amenities make it easy to stay in. Awesome property, would rent again.

This charming little space was great. Everything was remodeled and the view was so extremely peaceful. I sat in the am and just enjoyed the serenity of the prairie... look forward to coming back

If you're looking for a place that's warm and inviting, this cabin is the place to be! This log cabin is in a prime location: centrally located between the lake, ski-lifts, hiking trails, and golfcourse. The neighborhood is very quiet, which made for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. It has many essentials should you want to cook (pans, utensils, coffee maker, etc.) or if you just want to lounge around and do nothing (TV with cable, wifi). During the nights, we enjoyed playing games around the wood burning fireplace and drinking wine under the string lighted deck! If our schedules would have allowed, we would have loved to stay longer 🙂 P.S. I would definitely recommend trying the Big Bear Brewing Co as well during your stay (The food and service is excellent!)

This is one of those vacation rentals where I almost hate to leave a review because I loved the place so much I want to be able to return and I am afraid once word gets out how nice it is it will be booked solid! This place is literally right at the base of Snow Summit. The condos themselves are older but this unit has been recently remodeled and it so beautiful and clean. New floors, new kitchen, new bathrooms, etc. Decor is very pleasing and layout is very functional. There is a hot tub on the deck off the master bedroom downstairs which looks right out on Chair 2 and the base of Summit Run and Westridge (for you winter people) and it right on the "Town Trail" (for you summer people who like to hike or bike). The unit is pet friendly but with the wood floors you would not know this unless you (like us) brought your own pet with you. Not pet odor at all. It is so wonderful to find a place that feels clean and fresh but doesn't break the bank. We look forward to returning to this unit next time we're in Big Bear. It would be perfect for a family or a small group of friends/couples with the two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.

The moment we opened the car window the pine trees smelled so great, then up to the cabin, so nice and clean. Great views of both the lake and the ski area. Has great beds, nice fluffy towels in the baths, and all around nice place in the So. Cal mountains. I would love to stay during ski season too! So close to the Village and the ski area, Bear Mountain. Can't wait to go back again soon!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in the Bear Tree Hideaway. It had every amenity you could possibly ask for. So clean and well stocked with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. We had a party of 10 and it fit us perfectly. It has a warm homey feeling that makes you want to stay forever. It's right in the heart of everything from shopping to ski rentals to ski slopes. Plenty of parking and gated porch and yard that was great for our little yorkies. We're already planning our next trip.

My family rents this cabin one weekend ever year. It is perfect in too many ways to describe. You can watch from the deck and living room as people ski down the mountain. It has a huge fireplace and pool table to keep the kids occupied. We take the short walk from the cabin to the ski resort, come back for lunch, then head back for afternoon ski session.

"Generally speaking, this was a nice cabin. Both the heater and water heater worked as expected, as did all of the lights and appliances. The chimney was clear, the towels stocked, and the bedding was clean. In other words, the big-ticket items were in working order and we were happy with the accommodations. Parking is tight at the base of the stairs with a large SUV, but coming up and down the steps wasn?t too bad. A couple of steps are difficult to see in the dark, but the climb itself isn?t difficult. That said, there were a couple of light maintenance things that needed to be done at the property. The flushing mechanism in the toilet was broken so we had to open the tank and manually pull the chain to flush. The flapper seal also needs to be replaced as it doesn?t set properly which meant we had to keep an ear out for water running freely through the tank. There were used cigarettes resting in the window sills that hadn?t been cleared by housekeeping, the bathroom sink drained slowly, and the pans were greasy when we arrived. The upstairs door also had to be propped open as the hinges squealed and squeaked every time the door was used and there were a couple of screws on the interior railing and steps that weren?t flush so we had to watch our hands and feet when going between floors. Not perfect, but it suited our needs and we enjoyed our stay. "

Loved this cabin. Very fun place to stay in at Big Bear! Entire family enjoyed our family time together - playing pool, shuffle board and the jaccuzi. Absolutely wonderful.

We purchased this stay at a charity auction for a great organization (Casa de Amparo) that the owners of the cabin and our family support. We have to say we had the best time, and this is such a cute little cabin. Great location in relation to the slopes, cute/clean cozy little cabin that has everything you could ask for; including a hot tub, and the property management company's service was exceptional as well. Highly recommend this property for anyone look for a great little get away in Big Bear.

This was my first trip to Big Bear Lake I had such a good time. The house was fully equipped with everything I needed and if anything did go wrong I simply called the front desk and they send out maintenance right away! (me not knowing how to work the jacuzzi) the neighborhood was quiet and the people I did run into on awalk was really friendly. And I was just 5 to 10 minutes away from everything what an amazing vacation rental

Our group filled this house yet there was plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable. The kids loved playing pool and sand volleyball. It was a wonderful home to reconnect with old friends. The view overlooking Big Bear Lake is stunning. We all enjoyed it from the back deck. I highly recommend this home for your next vacation.

I have been coming to Big Bear for about 40 yrs now and we always stayed at a cabin near Boulder Bay . We decided to do something different and go to the other side (Moonridge Area) . All I have to say is I am so glad we did!! It's a very homey beautiful cabin!! Great view , close to the stores, very relaxing in every way!! Like my husband said "it's like being in your own home but even better".

Love the location, walk to snow summit, come home for lunch. Comfy and cozy fun!!

We brought our bikes and thought we would take a few hikes...we had no idea how many fabulous options of biking trails there were! Just up the road from Snow Summit, we happily discovered biking trails we could access that circled Big Bear Lake within easy access of the cabin. We also discovered the wild world of Mountain Biking down Snow Summit! We rented the right gear at the base of the hill and had a full day of fun. We also discovered a fantastic Himalayan restaurant in town and loved the convenience of making our own breakfast and lunches at the cabin. We are so hooked now, we hope to return again soon.

This house is the ideal Big Bear vacation rental. It is large and contemporary, but with the wood and stone design it maintains the charm of a mountain cabin. The location on Eagle Point provides the best view in Big Bear, and it is also minutes from town for dining and entertainment. We had six adults and seven children in our group, but with 5 bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms, it still felt spacious. I can't imagine a better vacation home.

Secluded and very private. Deck was really nice all new outdoor furniture and inside looks all new including kitchen. Had everything you could ask for. We are coming back here for sure this winter.

A group of friends and I rented the cabin over the weekend in December of 2015, and we had such a great time. The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and organized. It's very close to the slopes, and there was a store right down the road which is useful for picking up any supplies we may have forgotten to get. Absolutely no complaints.

This cabin was cozy, clean, and a great location! Easy walk to the village and a couple minute drive to the slopes. I thoroughly would recommend this cabin for a great getaway stay.

Fell in love with the place the minute I walked in. The location was perfect close to the lake, hiking area, and down the road for a wedding I was attending. Very nice cabin with all the extras. Jacuzzi was nice. Pool table and entertainment area with plenty of games and movies. Entertainment area in the loft was perfect for kids. Two bathrooms was nice. Fenced backyard with table and BBQ. Only think I would ask for is more chairs on the porch to enjoy the view. Two families, 4 adults and 5 kids, had recently stayed at this large open floor plan house. The house was outfitted with board games, kitchen ware, and comfortable furnishings. The large beanbag was a hit among all of us. Being able to enjoy the company of everyone while some are in the kitchen, at the dining table or in the living room around the fireplace without feeling cramped is an awesome feeling. Great, clean place. Wonderful location. Well decorated. Very well stocked kitchen (we made a full Thanksgiving meal!) Would definitely come back.
